Evelyn Moreno is a powerhouse 17-year-old drummer from Katy, Texas, and the heartbeat of Garbage Girlfriend—an all-female teen rock band turning heads across the Texas music scene. She picked up her first pair of sticks at age 7 and never looked back, spending countless hours behind the kit and onstage honing her craft. Evelyn sharpened her skills at School of Rock, where she also trained in bass guitar and vocals.
As the founder and drummer of Garbage Girlfriend, Evelyn brings explosive energy, dynamic precision, and raw emotion to every performance. Whether powering through original tracks or reimagining rock anthems, her style commands attention and ignites crowds.
She’s also showcased her drumming and acting talents in both national and local commercial campaigns. She has appeared in national campaigns for companies like Church’s Chicken and Academy Sports & Outdoors, online Amazon campaigns for Mendini by Cecilio electronic drums, as well as local commercials for organizations like the Houston Zoo. She has been featured on an episode of SuperHeroKids, a kids’ YouTube channel with more than 7 million subscribers and more than 4 billion views. Evelyn has even served as a co-host on Houston Life, the Houston NBC station’s entertainment lifestyle show.
She continues to rise as a standout young force in the rock world. Offstage, Evelyn balances life as a varsity swimmer, National Honor Society student, and full-time music obsessive with a love for concerts, movies, and as much sushi as she can get.
